Dr. Ronald Benson is a civil and environmental engineer by profession and a serious hobbyist when it comes to genealogical and biographical research.  He is a member of a number of organizations in which he enjoys interaction with those having similar interests.  He is proficient at preparing lineage society applications and preparing genealogical proof arguments.  He is the author of a number of articles appearing in the New England Historical Genealogical Register, Connecticut Nutmegger, Ohio Genealogical Society Quarterly and Ohio Genealogy News.

Ron dressed in period clothing believed to have been representative of that worn by his ancestor Corporal Moses Benson of Douglas, Massachusetts.  There were no uniforms for the army at that time.
